Listed below are the categories of programs that are offered through GCI. Click on the category to find out what kind of programs are listed. To find out what is currently being offered go to the Schedule of Programs. If you do not see a program you are interested in on the schedule, call GCI. If a sufficient number of companies or individuals contact us, we will add programs as needed.
Trade Specific – Most of the trade specific programs are 150 hours in length and usually run from September through April. They meet Mondays and Wednesday OR Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on the location.
Correspondence – Construction related courses, learning at your own pace, in your own home.
Career Development – A variety of programs that cater to individuals in construction.
License Preparation – Programs designed to help students prepare for specific licenses. Among other courses, 15-hour Electrical License Renewal and ASME Code Review course fall into this category.
Safety – A range of topics from Fall Protection to two types of OSHA programs.
WIT Project Management Certificate – This course would benefit companies who have valuable field employees, capable of becoming leaders in the office, to transition into office management positions.
Professional Development Seminars – Members sharing their knowledge, presenting topics to other members.
Online – Enroll in affordable online programs to learn anywhere, anytime.
